SOLDIERZ R MURDERERZ!!11! by crazylaura64 SOLDIERZ R MURDERERZ!!11! by crazylaura64
This is something that's been bugging me. :|

I get kinda pissy when people label sollies as "murderers" and "fake heroes" because they kill people. While I do sympathise a little regarding the deaths of innocent civilians, I have to disagree in regards to the enemy.

That, and most countries around the world allow their men (and women) to join the army voluntarily. If you still think soldiers are "murderers", then why don't you ask the soldiers themselves, who often volunteer?

If anything, the person you really should be blaming for pointless deaths is the government. :P

If there were no soldiers, then would you really have freedom? Most likely not.

Don't know too many leftists who'd agree with this stamp, but I'm glad you don't think soldiers are just bloodthirsty mercenaries hired by the fed. :)

The government send people into fights and only half of them come back.

I think soldiers deserve more respect. They're not all rednecks who want to kill third world people in the name of God. People should learn to sympathize with what the soldiers go through. I am anti-war and I still think that soldiers deserve respect.

I definitely agree to this, and two of my closest friends are joining a branch of the military {Lane is going into the Marines tomorrow and Michael is going into the Navy this fall]. I even have a book at home titled "We All Gave Some", and it's the autobiography of Mike Hume, a former soldier my mom was seeing until he died from cancer. It's actually available for purchase, so I highly recommend checking it out.

Hm yes tehy serve, unfortunally teh often serve murderers. And too many militarys of the world start to send societys unwantet people under arms in another land like America does it. And if such psychopathes starts outraging, nobody is responsible. This blames the whole land. And England, even if much more respectable, have fought one or two battles too much with the Americans unfortunally.
Soldiers are individuals, armys not. And armys can force individuals under pressure to do things they would in normal circumstances never do - but blame is nothing you canīt deny. A soldier must know that he gets money to fight and kill, to follow orders even they may be wrong and take the blame with the whole army or itīs land if these do something wrong.
You can go if you donīt agree with the things happend, in every army, just of different ways, sometimes hard ways.

A quote from an actual serviceman: "I get paid to kill people and break stuff."

What if they think it's what they're being paid for? :noes:
